Start Weaning
Try not to worry if your baby does not seem to be eating much in the first stages of weaning. Babies are generally good at regulating what they eat to obtain the necessary nutrients. Remember that your baby's tummy is tiny, so keep portion sizes small but offer food or milk frequently. |
Introducing Lumps
You can start to think moving from purees to a mashed texture when your baby is about 7 months old. When introducing a mashed texture, aim for soft lumps in a fairly thick purée, which your baby can mush in their mouth. |
Bigger Bits
